Sunita and Manhong bring home awards from IPSF 2026

Ph.D. student Sunita Shrestha won Best Oral Presentation in the SCAD category, and Manhong Wang received a Certificate of Excellence in Pathology plus a travel award at the International Poultry Scientific Forum in Atlanta.

Two of our Ph.D. students were recognized at the 2026 International Poultry Scientific Forum (IPSF) in Atlanta.

Sunita Shrestha won the Best Oral Presentation Award in the SCAD category for her work on vaccine candidate identification against avian pathogens using reverse vaccinology.

Manhong Wang received a Certificate of Excellence in Pathology and an IPSF Travel Award for his culturomics research on the broiler cecal microbiome.
